About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" concerning sport of veterans of war
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. 7, Art. 50 with subsequent changes) the following changes:
1. The fourteenth Article 1 to state the paragraph in the following edition:
"sport - the activities of subjects of the sphere of physical culture and sport directed to identification and the unified comparison of achievements of people in physical, intellectual and other podgotovlennost by holding sports competitions and preparation for them. The sport has such directions: children's sport, sport for children and young people, reserve sport, elite sport, professional sport, sport of veterans of physical culture and sport, veterans of war, the Olympic sport, not Olympic sport, office and applied and military and applied sport, sport of persons with disability and so forth".
2. To add article 6 after part seven with new part of such content:
"The central executive body which provides forming and realizes state policy in the field of social protection of veterans of war of persons having special merits before the Homeland, injured participants of Revolution of Advantage, members of families of veterans and persons on whom operation of the Law of Ukraine "On the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" expatiates, promotes development of sport of veterans of war and members of their families, their psychological and social adaptation by familiarizing with sports and improving and sports activities with use of the operating network of organizations of physical culture and sport provides holding All-Ukrainian sporting events among veterans of war and their participation in the international sporting events, interacts with public associations of sports orientation".
With respect thereto the eighth to consider part part nine.
3. Add with Article 36-2 of the following content:
