About modification of the Instruction about procedure for opening, use and closing of accounts in national and foreign currencies

According to article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", to subitem 164.2.8 of Item 164.2 of article 164 of the Tax Code of Ukraine and for the purpose of enhancement of procedure for opening by banks of customer accounts the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine decides:

1. Add Chapter 6 of the Instruction about procedure for opening, use and closing of accounts in national and foreign currencies, approved by the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of November 12, 2003 No. 492, Ukraine registered in the Ministry of Justice on December 17, 2003 for No. 1172/8493 (with changes), new Item of the following content:

"6.9. The bank for transfer only of the salary, grants, pensions, the public assistance and other social payments provided by the law opens for physical person the separate current account according to the procedure, determined by this Chapter, or uses the account which is already opened for these purposes (further in this Item - the separate account).

For opening of the separate account the client shall in the statement for opening of the current account (appendix 5) in the line "Additional information" to specify that the account is opened for transfer of the salary, grant, pension, the public assistance and other social payments provided by the law. For the operating current account such information is determined in the additional agreement to bank account agreement.

Account transactions on the separate account are performed according to the procedure, determined by Chapter 7 of this Instruction".
