About questions of the organization and activities of Central Securities Depository

For the purpose of implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the security market", the Cabinet of Ministers decides creations of uniform storage system, accounting and movement of corporate securities:

1. Accept the offer of the State Property Committee and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on creation of Central Securities Depository (further - the Central depositary) in the form of the state unitary enterprise based on the right of the operational management performing the activities for the income account from rendering services and other receipts.

The sizes of rates for services of the Central depositary affirm authorized state body on regulation of the security market in coordination with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Determine that exclusive functions of the Central depositary are:

registration of securities;

storage of documentary securities;

document storage, confirming issue of securities;

maintaining registers of owners of securities;

accounting of the rights of the state to securities, and also the rights to securities of persons authorized by the state on management of securities;

account management of depot of investment intermediaries;

implementation in accordance with the established procedure calculations in securities;

accounting of the securities allowed to the address in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued by nonresidents of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

accounting of the securities allowed to the address out of the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued by residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

accounting of the rights to the securities issued and belonging to investment funds if other is not established by the legislation;

maintaining Single base of depositors;

assignment of the international codes to the issued securities issued by residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
