About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" on strengthening of social protection of participants of anti-terrorist operation, participants of Revolution of Advantage and members of families of the died such persons

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 45, Art. 425 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. In Article 7 part two:

Item 4 to state 1) in the following edition:

"4) persons which became disabled people owing to wounds or other injuries of health received:

in areas of fighting during World War II and from explosives, ammunition and military arms in post war period;

from explosives, ammunition and military arms in the territory of conducting anti-terrorist operation till December 1, 2014, and since December 1, 2014 - in the territory of conducting anti-terrorist operation where public authorities perform the powers, and in the settlements located on the line of contact during conducting anti-terrorist operation;

in case of performance of works, the ammunition connected with mine clearing, irrespective of time of their accomplishment.

Action of the paragraph of third this Item does not extend to persons condemned for crimes against bases of homeland security of Ukraine and crime against public safety.

Communication of disability with the wound or other damage of health sustained the faces specified in this Item is established according to the conclusion of medico-social examination according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine";

2) in Items 11-14 of the word "wounds, contusions or mutilations" shall be replaced with words "wounds, contusions, mutilations or diseases".

2. In Article 10:

1) in Item 1:

in paragraphs four - the eighth words "wounds, contusions and mutilations", "wounds, contusions or mutilations" shall be replaced with words "wounds, contusions, mutilations or diseases";
