Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of April 17, 1992 "About veterans" in edition of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 12, 2001 (Vyarkho¸naga Savet's Vedamastsi of Respubliki Belarus, 1992, No. 15, Art. 249; National register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2001, No. 67, 2/787; 2007, No. 171, 2/1350; 2008, No. 184, 2/1505; 2010, No. 6, 2/1644; National legal Internet portal of the Republic of Belarus, 10.01. 2014, 2/2099) following changes and amendments:
1. In part two of preamble of the word "in the territory of the Republic" shall be replaced with words "in the Republic".
2. Item 5 of Article 1, the name, paragraph one and Item 1 of article 7 after the word to "situations" to add with words "bodies of financial investigations of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus,".
3. In Article 5 of the word "the age granting pension entitlement on age in accordance with general practice" shall be replaced with words "generally established retirement age".
4. In Article 8:
in the paragraph the second words of "target republican and local programs for social protection" shall be replaced with words "state programs (subprogrammes) in the field of social protection";
word in paragraph three of "the specified programs" shall be replaced with words "state programs (subprogrammes) in the field of social protection of veterans".
5. State Article 10 in the following edition:
"Article 10. Legislation of the Republic of Belarus on veterans
The legislation of the Republic of Belarus on veterans is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and consists of this Law, other acts of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, and also international treaties of the Republic of Belarus.
