About modification of some legal acts on ensuring compliance with the rights of participants of criminal trial and other persons law enforcement agencies when implementing pre-judicial investigation

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. In article 387 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, Art. No. 25-26, 131):

the paragraph one of part one after the words "Disclosure without" to add with the word of "written";

in part two:

in paragraph one of the word "if the divulged data dishonor the person, degrade his honor and advantage" to exclude;

in the paragraph the second to exclude the words "or corrective works for a period of up to two years", and after the words "or arrest for a period of up to six months" to add with the words "or restriction of freedom for a period of up to three years";

add with part three of the following content:

"3. The action provided by part two of this Article if the divulged data dishonor the person, his honor and advantage degrade,

it is punished by restriction of freedom for a period of three up to five years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities for a period of up to three years".

2. In the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88):

1) in Article 3 part one:

add with Item 16-1 of the following content:

"16-1) other person, the rights or legitimate interests of which are limited during pre-judicial investigation, - person concerning whom (including concerning its property) the legal proceedings determined by this Code are performed";

to add Item 25 after the word "arrest" with the words "the other person, the rights or legitimate interests of which are limited during pre-judicial investigation";

2) in Article 27:

state the name in the following edition:
