About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the National commission performing state regulation in the field of power and utilities" about provision of powers to the President of Ukraine for ensuring steady activities of the National commission performing state regulation in spheres of power and utilities

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About the National commission performing state regulation in spheres of power and utilities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2016, No. 51, Art. 833; 2017, Art. No. 27-28, 312) following changes:

1) the first offer of part two of Article 8 to add with the words "except the cases provided by this Law";

The Section IV "Final and transitional provisions" to add 2) with Item 3-1 of the following content:

"3-1. Before appointment of new structure (new members) of the Regulator according to article 8 of this Law and in case of incompetence of the Regulator the President of Ukraine appoints members of the Regulator in the quantity equal to quantity of vacant positions, about day of appointment of the members of the Regulator chosen by results of open competitive selection, but no more than for three months".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
