About entering of amendment into the Law of Turkmenistan "About copyright and the related rights"

"Article 8-1. Registration of objects of copyright

1. Registration of objects of copyright is made on voluntary basis.

2. In case of application for registration of object of copyright it is issued:

1) the certificate on copyright object;

2) the patent for the work of architecture which has original architectural concept and belongs to the large and (or) important objects of architecture, town planning and landscape gardening art performed in the territory of Turkmenistan.

Requirements to documents of the request for registration of objects of copyright are established by authorized state body on intellectual property.

3. The certificate or the patent specified in part two of this Article confirm the fact of creation of object of copyright and date of its registration.

4. The certificate or the patent specified in part two of this Article are issued by authorized state body on intellectual property.

5. The authorized state body on intellectual property makes the decision on patent grant on the work of architecture or on refusal in its issue by results of state examination, received from the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, confirming originality of architectural concept, and also reference of object of architecture, town planning and landscape gardening art to large and (or) important which criteria are determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

6. Data on the registered object of copyright are entered by authorized state body on intellectual property in the State register of objects of copyright.

7. The list of the data entered in the State register of objekyot of copyright, form of the certificate and the patent specified in parts two of this Article, and structure of the data specified in them are established by authorized state body on intellectual property.
