About modification in Criminal and Criminal procedural codes of Ukraine for the purpose of realization of provisions of the Convention of the Council of Europe on prevention of violence against women and domestic violence and fight against these phenomena

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in Criminal and Criminal procedural codes of Ukraine the following changes:

1. In the Criminal code of Ukraine (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, Art. No. 25-26, 131):

1) in part two of Article 22 of the word and figure "violent satisfaction of sexual passion with unnatural method (Article 153)" shall be replaced with words also in figures "sexual violence (Article 153)";

Item 7 parts one of Article 66 to state 2) in the following edition:

"7) crime execution under the influence of the heat passion caused by the ill treatment or degrading honor and advantage of the personality and also with system nature of such behavior from the victim";

3) in Article 67:

in part one:

state Items 3 and 6 in the following edition:

"3) crime execution because of racial, race, religious strife or discord or because of sex";

"6) crime execution concerning the elderly person, person with disability or person which is down and out or the person who is suffering from mental disturbance, in particular weak-mindedness, having shortcomings of intellectual development, and also crime execution concerning the juvenile child or in the presence of the child";

add with Item 6-1 of the following content:

"6-1) crime execution concerning spouses or the former spouses or other person with whom the guilty person is (was) in family or close relations";

the second after figure "6" to add part with figures "6-1";

Article 76 after part one to add 4) with new part of the following content:
