About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic "About protection of plant varieties"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan of December 29, 2010 "About protection of plant varieties" (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2010, No. 12, h 1, the Art. 831) the following changes and amendments:

1. To write the name of the Law with capital letters.

2. In Article 1:

- in paragraph four the word "Register" shall be replaced with words "The state register" and after the word "body" to add with the words "on testing, registration and protection of plant varieties";

- to state paragraphs of the fifth, sixth and seventh in the following edition:

"-the right of the selector - the right of the selector to new plant variety which are determined by this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- International union on protection of new plant varieties, the international union founded by the states or intergovernmental organizations - participants of the International convention on protection of new plant varieties for the purpose of support in development of agrarian industry, and also protection of the rights of selectors;

- members of International union on protection of new plant varieties of the state or intergovernmental organizations - participants of the International convention on protection of new plant varieties;";

- add with paragraphs the eighth and ninth the following content:

"-the applicant - the physical person or legal entity which submitted the request to authorized state body on testing, registration and protection of plant varieties for receipt of the right of the selector;
