About modification and amendments in the Law on fauna No. 439/1995

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on fauna No. 439/1995 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, Art. No. 62-63, 688), with subsequent changes and amendments, to make the following changes and additions:

1. In all text of the law of the word of "dachshund of penalties" shall be replaced with words "the payments collected", the words "Dachshunds of Collection" – the words "Payments, Levied", the words "DACHSHUNDS of penalties" – the words "PAYMENTS, levied", and the word "Dachshund" – the word "Payment".

2. In Article 2:

after the concept "rare and being under the threat of disappearance animals" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"specially protected territory for avifauna – the natural space intended for preserving, maintenance and – depending on circumstances – recoveries of the favorable security status of bird species and specific habitats for the purpose of protection of the migrating types of wild birds;";

after the concept "sports and amateur fishery" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"regulation of number of hunting animals – catching of live animals, their immobilization, resettlement, killing, sports and amateur and selection hunting for wild animals in case of exceeding of their optimum number and in case of epizooty;".

3. Add Article 14 with part (3) the following content:

"(3) placement of wind power stations and power lines in the natural territories which are especially protected by the state and on the ways of intensive migration of wild birds Is forbidden, and already existing power lines shall be equipped with ptitsezashchitny devices of the visual alarm system by installation on transitions of protective wire of spherical anchor buoys of white-red color from fiber glass with a diameter at least 600 mm at distance of 50 m from each other. The isolated wire shall be at least 6 m long that large birds could not cause short circuit between two conductors which are under the different tension.".
