About measures for further enhancement of project works and system of training of design engineers in key branches of economy

The situation in the field of designing in key branches of economy of the republic testifies to shortage of skilled design engineers at profile design institutes, insufficient level of implementation of modern innovative methods of the organization of work in this sphere and, as a result, low quality of the developed project documentation.

High dependence on participation of foreign engineering companies in implementation process of investment projects was as a result created that becomes the reason of expenditure of considerable currency funds for payment of the rendered services.

The operating system of training does not allow to involve quickly graduates of profile highest educational institutions in vigorous productive activity of design institutes and engineering organizations. Young specialists have no initial skills of designing of technological systems, developments of design documentation and project management.

The limited number of production personnel of the Republican design institute "Uzinzhiniring" under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - RPI "Uzinzhiniring") acting as the prime contractor on development of the preproject and project documentation according to investment and infrastructure projects in key branches of economy does not allow to implement effectively modern innovative methods of the organization of work and to enhance system of training of design engineers.

For the purpose of improvement of quality of project works and level of their localization, training of highly qualified personnel in this sphere, and also further enhancement of activities of RPI "Uzinzhiniring":

1. Determine the main directions of further development of project works in key branches of economy:

enhancement of system of preparation of engineering personnel in the field of designing and project management, broad attraction in educational process of leading experts and design engineers of foreign educational institutions and engineering companies;
