About exchange of information, necessary for determination and control of customs value of goods in the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States

The governments of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which further are referred to as with the Parties

proceeding from provisions of the Agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs of April 15, 1994,

aiming to provide effective control of customs value of the goods moved through customs borders of the State Parties of the CIS for the purpose of counteraction to evasion from customs payment,

recognizing need to timely exchange information and data promoting enhancement of control of customs value of goods

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The purposes of this agreement are the cooperation, assistance and mutual assistance between the Parties for ensuring reliability of the declared customs value of the goods moved through customs borders of the State Parties of this agreement.

Article 2

In this agreement the following terms are used:

authorized bodies of the Parties – the bodies responsible for implementation of this agreement determined by the Parties;

specifications of exchange of information – the document determining structure, format and the scope of information which authorized bodies of the Parties, regulations of exchange, terms and methods of exchange, and also persons responsible for preparation, transfer and receipt of information exchange;

customs borders of the State Parties of this agreement – limits of customs areas of the State Parties of this agreement, and for state members of the Eurasian Economic Union – limits of customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Article 3

For the purpose of implementation of this agreement each Party determines authorized body what informs depositary along with the notification on accomplishment of the interstate procedures necessary for its entry into force on.
