About cooperation in the field of agricultural industry
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
aiming at cooperation increase in the field of agricultural industry and development of the rural zone taking into account the available capacity of the Parties,
expressing intention to deepen cooperation between the Parties,
wishing to create favorable conditions for development of scientific and technical and economic cooperation in the field of agricultural industry and development of the rural zone,
agreed as follows:
The parties within the competence and according to national legal systems render development assistance of cooperation between the subjects of managing of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan performing activities in the field of agricultural industry.
The parties develop cooperation in the following directions:
crop production;
livestock production;
mechanization of agricultural production;
production of seeds;
innovative technologies in agricultural industry;
land reclamation, land use planning, research of the soil and irrigating system;
scientific and research activities in the field of agricultural industry;
phytosanitary and veterinary control.
The cooperation between the Parties is performed within their competence and according to national legal systems of the states of the Parties in the following forms:
exchange of information and technical documentation;
exchange of experts and work experience;
implementation of new technologies in production of livestock and crop products;
support to creation of joint businesses;
organization and holding fairs, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, symposiums.
