About modification of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine concerning refining of separate provisions

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88) the following changes:

1. The second Article 132 to state part in the following edition:

"2. The petition for application of measures of ensuring criminal proceedings based on the resolution of the investigative judge moves in local general court within which territorial jurisdiction there is body of pre-judicial investigation".

2. The paragraph one of part one of Article 184 to state in the following edition:

"1. The petition of the investigator, prosecutor for application of measure of restraint moves in local general court within which territorial jurisdiction there is body of pre-judicial investigation, and shall contain".

3. The second Article 234 to state part in the following edition:

"2. Search is executed based on the resolution of the investigative judge of local general court within which territorial jurisdiction there is body of pre-judicial investigation".

II. Final and transitional provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. The petition of investigators, prosecutors for application of measures of ensuring criminal proceedings or carrying out searches which are brought into the relevant courts before entry into force of this Law are considered according to the procedure, acting before enforcement of this Law.
