About issuance of turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias

According to Articles 7, of 15, of 33, of 34, 35 and 56 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", for the purpose of ensuring currency circulation the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine SOLVED:

1. Introduce into circulation since April 27, 2018 turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias.

2. Turnover coins nominals 1 and 2 hryvnias are the legal means of payment in the territory of Ukraine which are in circulation together with coins nominal 1 hryvnia and banknotes nominal 1 and 2 hryvnias of previous years of production and are obligatory to:

1) to acceptance on their nominal value all physical persons and legal entities without any limit in all territory of Ukraine on all payment types;

2) to transfer into accounts, deposits, letters of credit;

3) to implementation of transfers.

3. To banknote mint (Baglay of VA.) provide production of turnover coins with nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias (within planned production volume for 2018) and their shipment to the Central storage in accordance with the established procedure.

4. To the central storage (Kalensky N. N.) in accordance with the established procedure to perform reinforcement of inventories of cash of departments (management) of currency circulation in regions of Department of currency circulation of the National Bank of Ukraine, Central storage and Operations department turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias.

5. To department (management) of currency circulation in regions of Department of currency circulation of the National Bank of Ukraine and to the Central storage in accordance with the established procedure to perform reinforcement of banks of Ukraine turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias.
