About introduction of amendments to the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To state parts 1 and 2 of article 211 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 (further - the Code) in the following edition:
"1. In case of alienation of the goods which are subject to marking, in shape, not excluding possibility of use of excise stamps and (or) labels more than once, or without making in their relation of registration by electronic method in accordance with the established procedure, or not corresponding to the registration made as regards excise stamps and (or) labels by electronic method or according to the procedure, established by the Tax code of the Republic of Armenia, if total cost of these goods which are in the place provided for alienation in the prices specified at the seller (and if the prices are not specified - determined according to the procedure, established by the Tax code of the Republic of Armenia), constitutes from fifty thousand to five hundred thousand dramas:
person incurring the obligation on marking is punished by penalty in the amount of eight hundred multiple to the thousandfold size of minimum wage.
2. The same act if the total cost of these goods in the prices specified at the seller (and if the prices are not specified - determined according to the procedure, established by the Tax code of the Republic of Armenia), constitutes five hundred thousand dramas and more:
person incurring the obligation on marking is punished by penalty in the amount of thousandfold to one thousand five hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage.".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective since January 1, 2018.
