About measures for enhancement of activities of research institutions in social and economic spheres

For the purpose of increase in efficiency of scientific and practical developments in the urgent directions of the social and economic sphere, and also according to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 15, 2018 No. PP-3534 "About organizational measures for enhancement of activities of research establishments concerning social and economic development":

1. Take into consideration that the Institute of forecasting and macroeconomic researches and Institute of social researches under the Cabinet of Ministers are transferred respectively to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economics and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Transform Institute of social researches to Institute of budget and tax researches under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan with assignment on Institute of forecasting and macroeconomic researches of tasks on carrying out researches in the social sphere.

3. Determine that:

The institute of budget and tax researches under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan is legal successor by the rights and obligations of Institute of social researches under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

4. Determine the main objectives and activities:

a) Institute of forecasting and macroeconomic researches under the Ministry of Economic Development and reducings poverty of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

forming of scientific and methodological bases of system of strategic planning and development of concepts, the comprehensive, target, industry and territorial programs aimed at providing social and economic development of the country for the short-term, medium-term and long-term periods in the conditions of liberalization of economy, increase in intellectual, technological and innovative potential of the country for the purpose of population growth in prosperity;
