About use of military satellite communication systems and their further enhancement

The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by provisions of the Agreement on the organization of bonds of interaction for the benefit of management of armed forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of March 6, 1998,

proceeding from need of use of military satellite communication systems by the Parties for the benefit of management of armed forces, other troops and military forming (further - armed forces) the State Parties of this agreement,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Use and further enhancement of military satellite communication systems are performed for the purpose of increase in reliability of management of armed forces of the State Parties of this agreement and the organization of bonds of interaction between them.

These goals are achieved in the way:

the organizations of cooperation of the Parties in creation of new satellite communication systems and use of resource of handling capacity of repeaters of communication of the operating military spacecrafts (further - KA) the State Parties of the Agreement;

provisions to the Parties of resource of handling capacity of new satellite communication systems in volume of their contributions on financing of creation of KA of communication;

creations of the integrated military satellite communication system of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States by means of expansion of its national segments taking into account the approved technical requirements.

Article 2

The resource of handling capacity of repeaters of the acting KA of the Russian Federation is provided to the Parties for the benefit of management of armed forces of the State Parties of this agreement and the organization of bonds of interaction of bodies of military management of armed forces of the State Parties of this agreement.
