About cooperation

The State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus and Audit Chamber of the Republic of Tajikistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by the purposes and the principles of the International organization of the supreme bodies of financial control (INTOSAI),

expressing mutual aspiration to increase in efficiency of the state audit and financial control of the states of the Parties,

based on the principles of mutual respect, trust, equality and mutually beneficial cooperation,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties within the competence perform cooperation in the following main directions:

experience exchange in the field of methodology and procedure of substantive external audit and the state financial control;

interaction in the field of professional training and advanced training of personnel;

organization and carrying out joint surveys, seminars, conferences and working meetings;

exchange of acts of the national legal system, information (except limited to distribution) and techniques which belong to questions of implementation of the state audit and financial control.

The parties within the powers develop cooperation and render mutual assistance in other directions which are of mutual interest.

Article 2

In case of exchange of information and documents within this agreement each of the Parties shall observe the current legislation of the state about the international exchange of information, protection of the state secrets and other secret protected by the law.

Article 3

Each of the Parties provides confidentiality of the obtained information if the Party which provides information, considers undesirable its distribution.

Article 4

The parties hold consultations, seminars and conferences on the main questions of substantive external audit and the state financial control.
