About modification and amendments in the Law on political parties No. 294/2007

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on political parties No. 294/2007 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, Art. No. 42-44, 119), with subsequent changes and amendments, to make the following additions and change:

1. Add Article 26 with part (41) the following content:

"(41) the Physical person for fiscal year can perform donations to cash one or several political parties on the amount to three average salaries on economy established for the corresponding year. The donations exceeding this limiting amount are performed only by means of transactions of bank system.".

2. Part (Article 27 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) Political parties have the right to receive annually financing from the government budget through Central Election Commission. The regulations on financing of political parties, including calculation methodology, affirm Central Election Commission. The amount of assignments for these purposes affirms the annual budget law, their percentage share constitutes no more 0,2 of percent of the income of the government budget, except for the stipulated by the legislation income of special purpose, and is distributed as follows:

a) 40 percent - to political parties are pro rata to the results received at parliamentary elections;

b) 40 percent - to political parties are pro rata to the results received on general local election;

c) 10 percent - to political parties which provide quota at least 40 percent of female candidates from total number of the candidates proposed on all single-candidate districts at parliamentary elections. This increase is established at the expense of the amount allocated for fiscal year for the corresponding batch;

d) 5 percent - to political parties are pro rata to number of the women who are actually elected to position of the deputy of Parliament on single-candidate districts;

e) 5 percent - to political parties are pro rata to number of young people, actually chosen during parliamentary and general local elections.".

3. Part (Article 28 to add 1) with Item l) the following content:
