About modification and amendments in the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Moldova No. 122/2003

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

In the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Moldova No. 122/2003 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 248-251, 699), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes and additions:

If the bases which determined acceptance of measure remain or if there were new bases proving its preserving, temporary release under judicial control is prolonged every time for the term provided by part (1).

(3-2) Mer of temporary release under judicial control can be ordered for the term of no more than 12 months in total to the person accused, the defendant in case of crime execution for which the law prescribes custodial sanction for a period of up to 12 years, or no more than 24 months in total to the person accused, the defendant in case of crime execution for which the law prescribes custodial sanction for the term of over 12 years.";
