Article 1. Purpose and tasks of this Law

The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of restriction of smoking of hookahs and electronic cigarettes in public places.

This Law is directed to protection of public health from harmful effects of smoking of the hookahs and electronic cigarettes connected with it social and other negative effects and also creation of organizational and legal conditions of forming and approval in the society of healthy lifestyle.

Article 2. The legislation on restriction of smoking of hookahs and electronic cigarettes in public places

The legislation on restriction of smoking of hookahs and electronic cigarettes in public places consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.

If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about restriction of smoking of hookahs and electronic cigarettes in public places then are applied rules of the international treaty.

Article 3. Hookah

Hookah is the device used for tobacco smoking or consumption of the smoking mix (smoking syrup, smoking stone) which is not containing tobacco in which the aerosol (vapor) or smoke passes through vessel with liquid (hookah flask).

Smoking mix is nicotine free mix, fruit smoking cocktail, and also their analogs created on the basis of food fibers without addition and application of leaves of tobacco and other components which part foodstuff of natural or artificial origin is.
