The lawyer goes into action in quality of the defender upon presentation of the certificate of the lawyer and the written notice of protection (representation) provided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About lawyer activities and legal aid". Reclamation of other documents confirming powers of the lawyer on conducting specific case is forbidden. Other person, according to provisions of part two of article 66 of this Code, submits the document confirming its participation right in criminal procedure as the defender (the marriage certficate, the document confirming the related relations with the suspect, the person accused, the defendant, the convict, justified, decisions of the bodies performing functions on guardianship and custody).".
