About modification of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About traffic in the Kyrgyz Republic"

Article 1.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About traffic in the Kyrgyz Republic" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1998, No. 8, the Art. 248) the following change:

"Article 24. Purposes, conditions of registration (re-registration) and accounting of automotor-vehicles

1. In the Kyrgyz Republic state registration (re-registration) of vehicles is performed for the purpose of:

- the admission of vehicles to participation in traffic and (or) operation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and beyond its limits;

- state accounting of vehicles;

- identification and control of offenses and the offenses connected with use of vehicles.

2. Legal entities and physical persons shall register (to re-register) the automotor-vehicles belonging to them irrespective of their technical condition within 10 working days from the moment of acquisition (obtaining) or emergence of the obligations attracting re-registration of automotor-vehicles.

3. All land vehicles issued, imported and which are operated in the Kyrgyz Republic are subject to state registration (re-registration) according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of transport.

4. All cars, tractor trucks, buses, minibuses, motorcycles, microcars, motor-sledge, mopeds, tricycles and ATVs are subject to registration (re-registration):

- with engine capacity at least 50 cubic cm;

- with the maximum constructive speed more than 50 km/h;

- with loading capacity more than 500 kg with the electric motor, intended for movement on highways public.

Also the tractors, self-propelled technological machines, trail cars, semitrailer trucks towed by vehicles are subject to registration (re-registration).

5. The vehicle which is in personal property of citizens is registered only on one owner.
