About modification and amendments in the Water code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In article 1 of the Water code of the Republic of Armenia of June 4, 2002 (further - the Code):

The concept "sewage" to state 1) in the following edition:

"sewage - the waters contaminated owing to use of water resources in the production or household purposes and also the rain, thawed or drainage snow which are following from the territories of settlements, objects of economic or other activity, not conforming to requirements of maximum permissible dumping which flow down in water resource;";

The concept "maximum permissible dumping" to state 2) in the following edition:

"maximum permissible dumping - the normalized size of dumping established for source of pointed and (or) scattered pollution;";

The concept "non-competitive supplier of water" to state 3) in the following edition:

"the non-competitive supplier of water - person rendering non-competitive services - the commercial organization rendering delivery services of drinking water to water disposal on centralized system of water disposal (sewage treatment) or irrigation which has no or cannot have competitors;";

The concept "permission to water use" after the word of "production" to add 4) with words of "repeated (secondary) water use";

To add 5) new to concepts of the following content:

"household sewage - the sewage formed owing to life activity of people;

production sewage - the sewage formed owing to economic activity, except for household sewage;

sewage of settlements - household sewage or their mix with production and storm sewage;

drainage system - the system of open channels, the closed drainages, wells and corresponding GTS which is carried out for decrease in level of ground waters and their assignment;

drainage waters - the waters which filtered into drainage system of water disposal owing to siccation of soils (decrease in level of ground waters);
