About modification and amendments in the Law on electronic communications No. 241/2007

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - For the purpose of ensuring uniform application of the Law on electronic communications No. 241/2007, in view of that repeated publication of this law is made without changes and additions made by the Law on modification and amendments to some legal acts No. 185/2017 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 371-382, 632), changes and additions made by the Law No. 185/2017, to recognize belonging to the relevant articles, parts and Items of repeatedly published law.

Art. II. - In article 40 of the Law on electronic communications No. 241/2007 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 399-410, 679), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes and additions:

in part (1):

to add the prolog after words of "ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of stations of radio communication" with words ", and also monitoring of service quality of the electronic communications provided by means of networks and stations of radio communication";

add part with the Item d-1) of the following content:

"d-1) measurement and assessment of parameters of service quality of the electronic communications provided by means of networks and stations of radio communication;";

in part (3) words "provided by Items k) and l) parts (3) Article 7." shall be replaced with words "provided by Items u), u 1) and u 2) of part (1) Articles 9, within the competence provided by part (1) this Article.".

Art. III. - In six-months time from the date of entry into force of this law:

- To the government to bring the regulations into accord with this law;

- To national regulation agency in the field of electronic communications and information technologies to bring the regulating documents into accord with this law.
