About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About protection of cultural heritage" concerning preserving the monuments of cultural heritage included in the List of the world heritage of UNESCO

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

І. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About protection of cultural heritage" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 39, Art. 333 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. Add Article 1 with paragraphs the twenty fourth - the twenty seventh the following content:

"object of the world heritage - the object of cultural heritage included in the List of the world heritage of UNESCO according to the Convention on protection of the world cultural and natural heritage (further - the Convention);

outstanding universal value - the value of object of the world heritage which is so unique that goes beyond national borders and is of general value for present and future generations which preserving and protection is priority for all mankind;

nominating of object of cultural heritage in the List of the world heritage of UNESCO (further - the nominations) - preparation and submission of documents based on which the Committee of the world heritage of UNESCO considers question of inclusion of object of cultural heritage in the List of the world heritage of UNESCO;

buffer zone - the territory around object of the world heritage which provides protection of integrity and authenticity of outstanding universal value of this object and within which use mode is set".

2. In Article 4:

the fourth to exclude the paragraph;

add with the paragraph the ninth such content:

"approval of procedure for creation of the supervisory boards of objects of the world heritage, forming of their structure and approval of standard regulations on the supervisory board of object of the world heritage".

3. In Article 5:

add part one with Items 2-1, 5-1 - 5-3 and 7-1 following contents:
