About modification and amendments in the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Article 282 of the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 1998:

Shall be replaced with words 1) regarding 1 word "which by law can not" "which at the time of emergence of the property right by law could not";

To add 2) with part 1.1 following of content:

"1.1. If the property which carried over to it on the bases, admissible the law by law cannot belong to it based on emergence of the actual circumstance which arose after emergence of the property right to it, then this property shall be alienated by the owner within year after emergence of this circumstance if the law does not provide other term.";

3) the first offer of part 2 to state in the following edition:

"2. In cases when the owner does not alienate property in time, specified in Item 1 or 1.1 of this Article, such property, taking into account its nature and value, according to the court verdict pronounced based on state body or local government body is on sale forcibly, and the received amount is handed to the former owner or passes into the state-owned or municipal property, and to the former owner the property value is compensated.".

Article 2. Transitional provisions

1. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.

2. If the bases for the termination of the property right of the owner to property arose before entry into force of this Law, then this property shall be alienated by the owner within year after entry into force of this Law.
