This Law is directed to revival and support of development of national art trade in the Kyrgyz Republic.
National art crafts represent the integral national property and one of forms of folk art and culture of the people living in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Preserving, revival and development of national art crafts are important national objective.
This Law governs the relations in the field of revival, development and preserving national art trade in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants of the specified relations are the physical persons and legal entities of any forms of business and patterns of ownership which are engaged in national art trade.
Legal regulation of the relations in the field of development of national art trade is based on the provisions of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic which came in the procedure established by the law into force of international treaties, this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The relations in the field of national art trade concerning legal protection and use of objects of intellectual activities are regulated by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on intellectual property.
For the purposes of this Law the following basic concepts are used:
product of national art trade - the art product of utilitarian and (or) decorative appointment made according to traditions of this trade;
the master of national art trade - physical person which makes products of certain national art trade according to its traditions and has the right to personal brand;
