About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About Customs Service"

Article 1. In article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of July 3, 2002 "About Customs Service" (further - the Law) words of "The customs code of the Republic of Armenia" shall be replaced with words ZR-402-N "the legal acts governing the customs relations".
Article 2. To state article 35 of the Law in the following edition:
"Article 35. Dress code and official ID of the customs employee
1. For the customs employee the dress code which form is determined by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, and procedure for carrying - customs authority is established. The uniform is issued free of charge.
2. The official ID which form and procedure for issue are approved by higher customs authority is issued to the customs employee.".
Article 3. To state article 37 of the Law in the following edition:
"Article 37. Responsibility of the customs employee
The harm done to persons or their property as a result of illegal actions or failure to act of customs employees is compensated by fund of financial incentive and development of system of Customs Service, and in case of insufficiency of means in the specified fund - at the expense of other means of the government budget of the Republic of Armenia.
The harm done to persons as a result of lawful acts of customs employees is not subject to compensation. Customs employees for the illegal actions or failure to act, and also bear disciplinary, administrative and criminal responsibility in the procedure established by the law for the illegal decisions made by them.
Actions or failure to act of customs authority or the customs employee can be appealed in the commission on appeal of higher customs authority or in court.
