About introduction of amendments to the Law on the organization of notarial activities No. 69/2016

Art. I. - In the Law on the organization of notarial activities No. 69/2016 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2016, Art. No. 277-287, 588), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 9:

2. In Article 11:

add Article with the Item g-1) of the following content:

"g-1) accept archive of activities of the notary which activities are suspended or stopped according to the order of the Minister of Justice;";

4. In Article 24:

"(1) the Commission on licensing is created by the order of the Minister of Justice and consists of seven members: three members elected by General meeting of notaries, and four members appointed by the Ministry of Justice, one of which - the representative of civil society selected on competitive basis by the Ministry of Justice. The procedure of competitive selection of the member of the commission for licensing from civil society is established in the provision approved by the order of the Minister of Justice after approval of Notarial chamber. If in 30-day time after request of the Minister of Justice General meeting of notaries did not elect members of the commission on licensing, they are appointed by the Minister of Justice as a result of the competition organized by the Ministry of Justice.

(2) the Minister of Justice can reject the candidacies chosen General meeting of notaries. The motivated refusal goes to Council of notarial chamber in 15-day time from the date of to which they were provided to it.

(3) If Council of Notarial chamber repeatedly puts the candidacies rejected by the Minister of Justice to the vote and they affirm by voices of two thirds of members of council again, the Minister of Justice shall accept them.";
