1. Article 149 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (2001, 131) to state sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Art. No. 25-26, in such edition:

"Article 149. Human trafficking

are punished by imprisonment for a period of three up to eight years.

2. The actions provided by part one of this Article, made concerning the minor or concerning several persons, either repeatedly, or by previous concert by group of persons, or the official with use of official position, or combined with violence which is not life-threatening or health of the victim or his relatives, or with threat of application of such violence

are punished by imprisonment for a period of five up to twelve years with confiscation of property or without that.

3. The actions provided by part one or the second this Article, made rather minor by his parents, adoptive parents, guardians or custodians, or made rather juvenile, or organized group, or combined with violence, life-threatening or health of the victim or his relatives, or with threat of application of such violence or if they entailed heavy effects,

are punished by imprisonment for a period of eight up to fifteen years with confiscation of property or without that.
