About modification of the Regulations on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation approved by the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of December 21, 2016 No. 699

1. Bring in Item 20 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation approved by the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of December 21, 2016 No. 699 "About approval of the Regulations on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and Standard regulations on territorial authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the subject of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2016, No. 52, Art. 7614; 2018, No. 19, Art. 2725; No. 30, Art. 4711), following changes:

a) state subitem 8 in the following edition:

"8) establishes scholarships, determines the sizes and conditions of payment of such grants to cadets and students of the federal state educational organizations which are under authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and also establishes awards: in the field of literature and art - for the works popularizing activities of law-enforcement bodies; in science and technology - for achievements in development of scientific and technical activities for the benefit of law-enforcement bodies; in the field of physical culture and sport - for achievement of high sports results, and also for creation of conditions for employee involvement of law-enforcement bodies and members of their families to systematic occupations physical culture and sport; in the field of information and mass communications - for ensuring effective interaction with mass media, institutes of civil society and citizens of the Russian Federation for the purpose of unbiased interpretation of activities of law-enforcement bodies, building confidence of citizens in law-enforcement bodies and increase in prestige of service in law-enforcement bodies; in the social sphere - for the significant contribution to implementation of social support of members of families of staff of law-enforcement bodies, the died (dead), missing persons in case of accomplishment of service duties, for progress in spiritual and moral and patriotic education of youth, and also for participation in voluntary (volunteer) activities;";

b) add subitem 9 with paragraphs of the following content:

"procedure for the organization of moral and psychological ensuring activities of law-enforcement bodies;

procedure for the organization of social work in law-enforcement bodies;

procedure for the organization of museum and historical work in law-enforcement bodies;".

2. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its signing.
