About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About freedom of assembly"

Article 1. Regarding 1 article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of April 14, 2011 "About freedom of assembly" (further - the Law) number "29" to replace ZR-72-N with number "44".

Article 2. In article 8 of the Law:

Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. The judges, prosecutors, investigators who are also serving in armed forces, bodies of homeland security, police and other strategic bodies with participation in meetings shall show political neutrality and restraint.";

Part 3 to state 2) in the following edition:

"3. The prosecutors, investigators who are also serving in armed forces, bodies of homeland security, police and other strategic bodies have no right to participate in meetings in office uniform.";

To add 3) with part 5 of the following content:

"5. Additional restrictions of the rights of persons specified regarding 1 this Article for the organization of meetings and participation in meetings can be established by other laws.".

Article 3. Regarding 1 Article 5, 10, parts of 1 Article 18, parts 4 of Article 19 and part 1 of article 33 of the Law the word "constitutional" to replace parts of 1 Article with the word "main".

Article 4. Final and transitional provisions

1. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.

2. The restrictions provided for the judge by this Law before entry into force of Chapter 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia with changes of 2015 extend also to members of the Constitutional court of the Republic of Armenia.
