About the treatment of explosive materials of industrial function

This Law governs the relations arising in the course of the treatment of explosive materials and is directed to protection of life and health of the person, ensuring national security, public order and environmental protection.

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

explosive materials - explosives, the means of their initiation, product and the device containing explosives;

explosives - the chemicals capable under the influence of external impacts to the bystry chemical transformation happening to allocation of large amount of heat and gaseous products;

explosive works - complex of the organizational and technical actions connected with preparation and carrying out explosions;

production of explosive materials - the activities connected with production of explosive materials, including all stages of engineering procedure;

means of initiation - the products and devices which are source of initial impulse for explosion implementation;

conversion explosive materials - military explosive materials which after the corresponding conversion or without it can be used in civil industries of the industry;

plastic explosive materials - mixes of one or several explosives with the knitting material which in the conditions of normal room temperature are soft or elastic and the explosives which are their part at temperature of 25 grad.s have vapor pressure less than 10 (in step. - 4) Pa;

the treatment of explosive materials - the activities connected with development, production, testing, acquisition, transportation, storage, accounting, realization, destruction of explosive materials, development and production of the equipment, means of mechanization, devices and equipments for explosive works, import, export and transit through the territory of Ukraine of explosive materials, the equipment and technologies for their production, carrying out explosive works.

Article 2. Law coverage

This Law governs the relations connected with the treatment of explosive materials of industrial function.
