About modification of the Regulations on income tax withholding from the salary and other payments performed by the employer for benefit of the worker, and also payments for benefit of the physical persons which are not performing business activity, providing services and/or performing works approved by the Order of the Government No. 697/2014

1. For tax period of 2018 provisions of Chapter V of the Law No. 1164/1997 on enforcement of Sections I and II of the Tax code will be considered.

2. In the Regulations on income tax withholding from the salary and other payments performed by the employer for benefit of the worker, and also payments for benefit of the physical persons which are not performing business activity, providing services and/or performing works approved by the Order of the Government No. 697/2014 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2014, Art. No. 256-260, 745), to make the following changes:

1) Item 8:

in the subitem 1) "The order of the Government No. 144 of February 26, 2014" to replace the text with the text "Order of the Government No. 693/2014";

in the subitem 4):

shall be replaced with words words of "basic rate" "weighted average interest rate";

the words "the interest rate applied to short-term transactions of monetary management" shall be replaced with words "the interest rate applied on the credits with repayment period more than 12 months";

shall be replaced with words the words "interest rate for long-term loans" "the interest rate for term loans";

to replace abbreviation of "Rb" in both cases with abbreviation of "Rmp";

Item 12 to state 2) in the following edition:

"12. The amount of annual releases is transferred in full in the amount of the indicator of the rate provided in part (1) or parts (2) article 34 of the Tax Code, without separation between the taxpayer and his spouse (spouse)";
