About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning enhancement of functioning of the financial sector in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such legal acts of Ukraine:

1. Article 337 of the Economic code of Ukraine (2003, Art. No. No. 18-22, 144) to exclude sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 29, Art. 238 with subsequent changes):

1) in Article 7 part one:

state Item 17 in the following edition:

"Will organize 17) and performs collection of means and transportation of currency values, in the procedure established by National Bank grants to legal entities licenses for provision to banks of services in collection, stops, renews and recalls them;

exclude Item 22-2;

2) in Article 33:

in Item 1 of the word "and storage" to exclude;

add with Items 1-1 and 1-2 of the following content:

"1-1) storages of banknotes and coins are direct or in the banks authorized by it on storage and for carrying out transactions with them;

1-2) determinations of requirements to banks which can be authorized on storage of banknotes and coins and for carrying out transactions with them, establishment of procedure for storage by such banks of banknotes and coins and carrying out transactions with them";

in Item 7 of the word of "bank institutions" shall be replaced with words "banks, their separate divisions, and also non-bank financial institutions and operators of mail service who obtained the license of National Bank for implementation of currency transactions and/or the license for money transfer without opening of accounts";

add with part two of the following content:

"The National Bank in the procedure established by it has the right to carry out inspections and audits of cash in the banks authorized by National Bank on storage of banknotes and coins and for carrying out transactions with them";
