About modification in Criminal and Criminal procedural codes of Ukraine concerning responsibility for illegal crossing of frontier of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in Criminal and Criminal procedural codes of Ukraine such changes:

1. The criminal code of Ukraine (2001, Art. No. 25-26, 131) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with Article 332-2 of the following content:

"Article 332-2. Illegal crossing of frontier of Ukraine

1. Crossing of border of Ukraine for the purpose of damnification to interests of the state or person to whom entrance on the territory of Ukraine, or representatives of divisions of armed forces or other security agencies of the state aggressor in any manner out of check points through frontier of Ukraine or at check points through frontier of Ukraine without the relevant documents or according to the documents containing false information is prohibited

it is punished by imprisonment for a period of up to three years.

2. The same actions made repeatedly or group of persons

are punished by imprisonment for a period of three up to five years.

3. The actions provided by parts one or the second this Article, connected to violence or using weapon

are punished by imprisonment for a period of five up to eight years".

2. Part the second Article 216 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88) after figures "332-1" to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with figures "332-2".
