About modification of the Regulations on fundamentals of percentage policy of the National Bank of Ukraine
According to Articles 6, of 7, of 15, of 25, 27 and 56 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", article 66 of the Law of Ukraine "About banks and banking activity", for the purpose of enhancement of means and methods of monetary policy of the National Bank of Ukraine the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine DECIDES:
1. Add the Regulations on fundamentals of percentage policy of the National Bank of Ukraine approved by the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of April 21, 2016 No. 277 (with changes), the new Section of the following content:
"V. Operational purpose of percentage policy of National Bank
16. The operational purpose of percentage policy of National Bank consists in content of the Ukrainian index of interbank rates for the credits and deposits overnight in national monetary unit at the level close to the level of discount rate, within corridor of interest rates for tools of continuous access.
17. The Ukrainian index of interbank rates - calculated value of cost of hryvnia money resources in the interbank market of Ukraine. Calculation of this index is perfromed according to the administrative act of National Bank concerning calculation and promulgation of the Ukrainian index of interbank rates.
18. The National Bank publishes values of the Ukrainian index of interbank rates on the page of official Internet representative office of National Bank.".
2. To department of the public markets (Ponomarenko S. V.) after official publication to inform banks information on adoption of this resolution.
