About determination of the size of the losses caused to the company, organization, the organization by plunder, destruction (spoil), shortage or loss of precious metals, gemstones and currency values

Article 1. The losses caused to the company, organization, the organization by workers which carry out the transactions connected with purchase, sale, exchange, transportation, delivery, transfer, storage, sorting, packaging, processing or use in production process of the precious metals and gemstones, jewelry, household and industrial products and materials made with use of the precious metals and gemstones, waste and scrap containing precious metals and gemstones, and also currency transactions and which are guilty of plunder, destruction (spoil), shortage or their above-standard losses (except the losses which happened in connection with unforeseen violations of engineering procedure) if they are allowed owing to negligence in work, violations of special rules, instructions, are determined in the following sizes:

a) precious metals - gold, silver, platinum and metals of platinum group (palladium, iridium, rhodium, osmium, ruthenium) in any kind and condition (raw materials, alloys, semifinished products, industrial products, chemical compounds, products, waste, scrap, etc.) - in double size of cost of these metals in pure form at the market prices operating on the date of identification of the caused losses;

b) gemstones (except facetted):
