About modification and recognition voided some Orders of the Government

Based on part (3) article 41 of the Law No. 279/2017 on informing consumers concerning foodstuff (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 7-17, 54) and parts (2) article 24 of the Law No. 296/2017 on general requirements of hygiene of foodstuff (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, No. 7-17, Art. 60) DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Order of the Government No. 996/2003 about approval of Regulations on labeling of foodstuff and Regulations on labeling of means of household chemicals (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, Art. No. 189-190, 1046) to make the following changes:

1) in the resolution:

a) in the name of the word "Regulations on labeling of foodstuff and" to exclude;

b) state preamble in the following edition:

"Based on part (1) article 2 of the Law No. 105/2003 on consumer protection (repeated publication: Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2011, Art. No. 176-181, 513)";

c) in Item 1 the text "Regulations on labeling of foodstuff according to appendix No. 1;" to exclude;

d) in Item 2 of the word "Regulations on Labelling of Foodstuff and", "to foodstuff and" and the words "food and" to exclude, shall be replaced with words the words "are sanitary regulations" "represent sanitary regulations", and "industries" to replace the word with the word "industries";

e) in Item 3 of the word "food and" and "foodstuff and" to exclude, and to replace the word of "industries" with the word "industries";

f) in Item 5:

to "Ministry of Health" shall be replaced with words words "To the Ministry of Health, work and social protection"; the text "to labeling of nutrition value, labeling of the foodstuff of special dietary purpose which is genetically modified or containing genetically modified foodstuff; to labeling of the products and materials intended for contact with foodstuff" to exclude;
