About entering of amendment and changes into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About privatization of state-owned property"

Article 1. ZR-188 "About privatization of state-owned property" (further - the Law) to add the law of the Republic of Armenia of December 17, 1997 with Article 12.1 of the following content:

"Article 12.1. The state body performing privatization

1. The state body performing privatization is the Committee of management of state-owned property (further - committee).".

Article 2. To state article 13 of the Law in the following edition:

"Article 13. Powers of committee

1. Committee:

a) develops drafts of privatization programs, the laws on modification of them and represents to the corresponding minister;

b) carries out the preparatory work on privatization approved by the Government;

c) concludes bargains on privatization on behalf of the Government, controls accomplishment of contractual commitments, in case of their failure to carry out takes measures, stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Armenia and the agreement on privatization;

d) accepts requests about "small" privatization and sets them in motion in accordance with the established procedure;

e) if it is provided by the decision of the Government, for the purpose of implementation of preparatory work in the companies appoints the managing director, involves experts;

e) approves correction coefficients for calculation of cost of the territory of "small" objects, proceeding from the cost of one square meter approved by the Government and the minimum and maximum sizes of these coefficients;

g) in case of privatization of shares of the companies by free subscription or auction calculates the starting price of the privatized state-owned property;

h) controls and analyzes privatization process, receiving for this purpose data from state bodies and judicial authorities;

i) discusses offers, statements, claims on privatization;
