The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Russian Federation which further are referred to as "Party"

being guided by the Contract on strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation of June 16, 2004 and the Agreement on the allied relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation of November 14, 2005,

considering priority role of textile, sewing and knitted industries in economy and social development of the Parties,

for the purpose of creation of mutually advantageous competitive environment in the markets of industrial output of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation,

recognizing importance of ensuring the coordinated work of industries of the states of the Parties based on the principles of mutually beneficial relations

realizing perspective of the possible new directions and forms of economic interaction in textile, sewing and knitted industries between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation,

considering the benefits opened for each Party as a result of combination of efforts and opportunities of Parties to the case of implementation of joint economic projects

adhering to observance of the national legal system existing in the territories of two states and taking into account the conventional principles and rules of international law,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purpose of further development of cooperation in textile, sewing and knitted industries of the Party perform it in the following main directions and forms:

determination of the priority directions of cooperation in textile, sewing and knitted industries, forming of the list of possible joint programs and projects;

coordination of the collateral actions directed to increase in competitiveness and sustainable development of textile, sewing and knitted industries of the Parties and cooperation of business entities of two states;
