According to Item 9 of article 30.1 of the Federal law "About Investment of Means for Financing of Funded Pension in the Russian Federation" Government of the Russian Federation decides:

Approve the enclosed Rules of determination of the income from placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance.

Rules of determination of the income from placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance

1. These rules establish procedure for determination of the income from placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance.

2. The income from placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance is calculated according to appendix as difference between the income and expenses of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation connected with placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance.

3. The income from placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance is calculated Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for settlement period.

In these rules settlement period is preceding year of calculation of the income from placement of reserve of Fund of pension and social insurance of the Russian Federation for mandatory pension insurance calendar year.
