About cooperation in the field of science and technologies
The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Belarus which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
realizing the importance of role of science and technologies in development of economies of two countries,
wishing to develop and strengthen sci-tech cooperation between both states,
intending to help effective and dynamic cooperation between the scientific organizations and scientists of both countries,
agreed as follows:
The parties apply provisions of this agreement according to the national legal system and the international obligations of each of the states.
The parties develop and strengthen the cooperation between both countries in the field of science and technologies based on the principles of equality and mutual advantage.
The parties promote development of long-term cooperation in the field of science and technologies directly between the scientific, research and production organizations of both countries on the basis of the agreements signed between these organizations.
The parties will develop sci-tech cooperation in the field of development of advanced technologies, including in the field of informatization, including applied researches.
According to this agreement the sci-tech cooperation between the Parties is performed in the following forms:
exchange of scientific and technical information;
accomplishment of joint scientific and technical projects and programs;
exchange of scientists, researchers and specialists for carrying out the researches and developments which are of mutual interest;
participation in scientific actions (conferences, symposiums, seminars, training) according to the preliminary arrangement between the Parties;
