About cooperation in the field of the higher education

The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on rules of international law and national legal system of two countries,

proceeding from aspiration to deepening of cooperation in the field of education,

believing that the cooperation in the field of the higher education will promote improvement of mutual understanding between the people,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform cooperation in the following directions:

exchange of information about education system and the reforms of the states of the Parties undertaken in the educational sphere;

exchange of students, pedagogical and scientific pedagogical workers;

exchange of regulatory legal acts concerning education;

expansion and deepening of cooperation between educational institutions of the states of the Parties at all levels.

Article 2

The parties develop cooperation in the field of preparation, retraining and advanced training of teachers and specialists, research and educational personnel, and also carrying out joint scientific research for which realization the Parties can sign direct contracts between the interested organizations of the states of the Parties.

Article 3

The parties encourage mutual exchange of students, teachers and researchers, educational and scientific delegations for the purpose of strengthening and further development of bilateral cooperation in the directions of science and education which are of mutual interest.

Article 4

Each Party will aim to create the conditions allowing citizens of the state of other Party to get acquainted with its language, culture, national history, literature, geography, customs and traditions.

Article 5

The parties appoint the following executive bodies responsible for implementation of this agreement:
