The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Turkmenistan which further are referred to as with the Parties

being guided by provisions of the Contract on strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan of March 6, 2017 and the Memorandum between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Turkmenistan of the basic principles of cooperation in the field of transport of October 8, 2015,

recognizing need of full-scale development of trade and economic cooperation,

for the purpose of development and strengthening of cooperation in the field of transport and transit of loads on mutually advantageous basis between two countries,

reached the following mutual understanding:

Article 1

The parties agreed to simplify procedures of issue of permission to transit through the territory of Turkmenistan of ammonium nitrate of production of the companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan intended for export to the third countries.

Article 2

Authorized bodies of the Parties on implementation of this Memorandum are:

from the Turkmen side - the Ministry of rail transport of Turkmenistan, Turkmenkhimiya State concern, the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan;

from the Uzbek side - JSC Uzkimyosanoat and JSC Uzbekiston temir yullari.

In case of delegation of power on implementation of this Memorandum to other bodies of the states of the Parties or changes of their name, the Party inform each other on it through diplomatic channels.

Article 3

1. For the purpose of implementation of this Memorandum authorized bodies of Turkmenistan will be:

render assistance in the organization of transit through the territory of Turkmenistan of ammonium nitrate of production of the companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan intended for export to the third countries;
