About modification of Rules of turnover of civil and office weapon and cartridges to it in the territory of the Russian Federation

1. Bring in Item 59 of Rules of turnover of civil and office weapon and the cartridges to it in the territory of the Russian Federation approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 21, 1998 No. 814 "About measures for regulation of turnover of civil and office weapon and cartridges to it in the territory of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 1998, No. 32, Art. 3878; 2014, No. 47, Art. 6543; 2018, No. 21, Art. 3023), following changes:

a) the paragraph one after the words "weapon and cartridges" to add with words ", and also the initiating and igniting substances and materials (gunpowder, caps) for independent equipment of cartridges to civil fire long-barreled weapon";

b) state paragraph two in the following edition:

"Storage of weapon, cartridges, and also the initiating and igniting substances and materials (gunpowder, caps) for independent equipment of cartridges to civil fire long-barreled weapon by citizens of the Russian Federation in places of temporary stay shall be performed with observance of the conditions excluding access for strangers to them.".

2. This resolution becomes effective from the date of entry into force of the Federal Law of July 19, 2018 No. 219-FZ "About introduction of amendments to the Federal law "About Weapon".
