About modification of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" concerning strengthening of social protection of participants of fight for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Item 16 parts one of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 45, Art. 425; 1996, No. 1, Art. 1; 2018, 20, 189) to state No. to the Art. in the following edition:

"16) persons who took part in all forms of armed struggle for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century as a part of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army of Ukrainian Insurgent Army of the ataman Taras Borovts (Potatoes) "Polesia Sech", the Ukrainian National Revolutionary Army (UNRA), Organizations of national defense "Carpathian Sech", the Ukrainian Military Organization (UMO), the armed divisions of the Organization of the Ukrainian nationalists and according to the Law of Ukraine "About legal status and celebration of memory of fighters for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century" are acknowledged as fighters for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century. The procedure for provision of participant status of fighting to specified persons is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective in three months from the date of its publication.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in three-months time from the date of publication of this Law:

adopt the regulatory legal acts necessary for implementation of this Law, having provided entry into force along with entry into force of this Law;

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
